TechMan Robotics manufactures and supports the linear motion product line. Our scope is deliberately narrow. We build screw-driven, belt-driven, rack-and-pinion linear modules, multi-axis gantry assemblies and sealed variants for cleanroom and washdown duty, Linear Motors, Electric Cylinders, Truss System,and we handle the engineering that surrounds them.
A linear module is frequently difficult to specify correctly. Lead and screw diameter interact with critical speed. Preload trades lost motion against heat. Belt compliance shifts servo tuning across the stroke. Duty cycle moves the accuracy you actually achieve away from the accuracy printed on the datasheet. Our engineers work through those interactions with you before a drawing is released, and stay available afterwards for commissioning, tuning and fault diagnosis.
We cover the linear axis end of the group's motion range. Customers in semiconductor and electronics, medical device assembly, packaging, food processing and new energy manufacturing use our modules as positioning axes inside their own machines.
